Poet Arisa White will read from her collection
Hurrah's Nest at "Queer Is Black," the February Perfectly book reading at Books Inc. Castro Mon., Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. White received her M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a Cave Canem Fellow and a 2013-14 recipient of an Investing in Artist Grant from the Center for Cultural Innovation. She is a B.F.A. faculty member at Goddard College and a regional representative for
Nepantla: A Journal Dedicated to Queer Poets of Color. Her other books include
